Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods according to established routes and schedules
- Load/unload cargo with care, ensuring proper handling of all items
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and address client inquiries
- Adhere to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency using GPS navigation systems
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience (commercial/delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
