Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Efficiently plan and execute daily delivery routes across New Orleans metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and inventory tracking systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during point-of-contact interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and resolve delivery issues
- Uphold company standards for product handling and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in commercial delivery
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans metropolitan area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficient with GPS navigation and route optimization software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Clear background check and pre-employment drug screen required
