Responsibilities
- Safely operate refrigerated delivery trucks to transport perishable goods on established routes
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to maintain product integrity
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and NYC traffic laws
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Familiarity with NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic inventory management knowledge
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
