Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (box trucks or vans) on predetermined routes through NYC boroughs
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Complete delivery manifests and digital documentation in real-time
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adapt routes dynamically to avoid traffic congestion and construction delays
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients at all times
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL or minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate pallet jacks
- Familiarity with NYC streets and traffic patterns
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation apps
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- DOT physical certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
