Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods along designated routes across Kansas City metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with precision and care for all shipments
- Maintain accurate delivery records and digital documentation via our mobile tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries promptly
- Optimize route efficiency to minimize fuel consumption and maximize delivery windows
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with route delivery background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills with proven ability to meet strict delivery schedules
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and digital delivery tracking platforms
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor for client interactions
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Knowledge of Kansas City metro roadways and delivery zones preferred
