Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles and maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Efficiently plan and execute multi-stop delivery routes across Marion County
- Handle customer interactions with professionalism during pickups/deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time route optimization
- Document delivery records and handle basic paperwork accurately
- Maintain clean driving record and follow all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Familiarity with Indianapolis metro area and surrounding counties
- Basic math skills for inventory and delivery documentation
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning start times (4:30 AM)
