Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles (vans or box trucks) on assigned routes
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adapt routes for traffic/weather conditions while meeting deadlines
- Collaborate with warehouse team on inventory coordination
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record (3+ years)
- CDL Class B certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening
