Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS navigation to optimize delivery schedules
- Load/unload merchandise with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery inquiries
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure timely order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Columbus metropolitan area
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Forklift certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings
