Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products along assigned routes across Atlanta metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for all shipments
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Communicate proactively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Represent Metro Logistics Solutions with professionalism in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with Atlanta metro area and major transportation corridors
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic computer literacy for route navigation and delivery documentation
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
