Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles along designated routes in San Antonio metropolitan area
- Load/unload packages with precision and care, ensuring zero damage claims
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation for maximum efficiency
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and route adjustments
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route modifications
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio streets and traffic patterns
- Proficiency with delivery tracking software and mobile devices
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug test required
