Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products on designated routes while adhering to DOT regulations
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and customer documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery stops and resolve issues promptly
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while ensuring product integrity
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delays or route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with route familiarity
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate warehouse equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Familiarity with Chicago traffic patterns and delivery zones
