Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods along designated routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Load/unload merchandise using pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route logs
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 1+ year of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Virginia Beach area preferred
