Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products and materials to designated NYC locations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to optimize delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Load/unload cargo safely and assist with inventory management
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Strong knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with mobile delivery tracking applications
- Background check and drug screening required
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
