Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and sensitive healthcare documents between facilities
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and biohazard safety standards
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and lab staff for efficient pickups/deliveries
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and ensure cleanliness of transport equipment
- Manage time-sensitive deliveries with strict adherence to temperature control requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare partners during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare certification a plus
- Experience with temperature-controlled transport preferred
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and drug screening
