Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and sensitive materials between healthcare facilities
- Maintain precise temperature control for time-sensitive shipments using specialized equipment
- Document and track all deliveries through our digital logistics platform (remote-friendly)
- Adhere to HIPAA protocols and chain-of-custody procedures at all times
- Coordinate with medical staff and dispatchers via mobile app for real-time updates
- Perform vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Manage inventory of medical packaging and cooling supplies
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical or specimen transport
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification preferred
- Ability to operate temperature-controlled equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Proficiency with mobile logistics apps and digital documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
