Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries in Houston metro area
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and vehicle maintenance records
- Optimize routes using provided digital tools to maximize efficiency
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients regarding ETAs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and document all incidents
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability coverage $1M+)
- Reliable box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for dispatch apps
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Must reside within 50 miles of Houston, TX
