Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport packages to designated delivery points while adhering to time schedules and traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and resolving delivery issues on the spot.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle, including the interior and exterior.
- Utilize company-provided technology for route planning, GPS navigation, and digital proof of delivery.
- Accurately process paperwork, including invoices and delivery receipts.
- Handle occasional loading and unloading of cargo with care to prevent damage.
Qualifications
- A valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
- Proficiency with smartphone technology for accessing navigation and delivery apps.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Basic knowledge of the geography of the Los Angeles area and willingness to travel to Pennsylvania for regional assignments.
