Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses in the Louisville metro area.
- Load and unload cargo from vehicles, ensuring items are handled with care and placed in the correct order.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain necessary signatures or payment upon completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery issues professionally and efficiently.
- Complete daily delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to ensure on-time arrivals.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of the Louisville, KY area and surrounding neighborhoods.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Basic computer literacy for logging deliveries and accessing navigation apps.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
