Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a clean driving record.
- Inspect delivery vehicles before and after each shift to report any maintenance needs.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling packages with care and providing excellent service.
- Update delivery status via mobile app in real-time to keep customers informed.
- Sort and organize parcels in the delivery van for efficient route planning.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery logs and mileage reports.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills and ability to navigate local Albuquerque streets efficiently.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and digital logging.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
