Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing hardware infrastructure including cryogenic systems and control electronics
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing operations
- Optimize quantum-classical hybrid workflows for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with research teams to prototype next-generation quantum processors
- Establish security protocols for quantum communication networks
- Lead deployment of quantum systems in secure government and financial sectors
- Maintain quantum system performance through advanced monitoring and calibration techniques
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing infrastructure or superconducting systems
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and quantum control electronics
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters and distributed systems
- Security clearance eligibility for government projects (preferred)
- Published research in quantum computing or related field (desirable)
