Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures supporting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop cryogenic control systems with sub-10 millikelvin thermal stability
- Lead integration of photonic networks with superconducting qubits
- Create quantum error correction protocols for commercial deployment
- Collaborate with AI teams to optimize quantum-classical hybrid workflows
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum hardware innovations
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum hardware development
- Expertise in dilution refrigeration systems and quantum control electronics
- Published research in Nature/Science journals preferred
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with semiconductor fabrication at nanoscale
- Security clearance eligibility required
