Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and molecular modeling
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop strategic roadmaps for quantum-AI hybrid systems deployment
- Secure $10M+ in research grants through NSF and DoE partnerships
- Author whitepapers on quantum supremacy applications in finance and healthcare
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum error correction methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on IBM Q or Rigetti systems
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum coherence breakthroughs
- Expertise in topological qubit engineering and error mitigation
- Proven track record securing federal research grants
- Fluency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization
- Security clearance for classified quantum defense projects
