Responsibilities

- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit stability in quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations and coherence times
- Lead research initiatives in quantum supremacy applications for financial modeling and drug discovery
- Publish breakthrough findings in leading quantum computing journals and conferences
- Secure $5M+ in research grants for 2026 quantum infrastructure projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years of quantum research experience
- Published work in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Proven track record of developing error-correction codes for NISQ-era hardware
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or quantum machine learning
- Experience securing government or corporate research grants
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and mathematicians
