Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop quantum-resistant cryptography
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Secure $1M+ in government/industry research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Translate theoretical models into scalable quantum architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum frameworks
- Published record in Nature/Science or equivalent journals
- Experience with superconducting/qubit-based systems
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Clearable US security clearance preferred
- Track record of securing federal research funding
