Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Conduct experimental research on quantum systems using IBM Q and Rigetti platforms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research into production-ready solutions
- Publish findings in leading journals and present at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects in cryptography and AI optimization
- Mentor junior researchers and interns
- Secure research grants and patents
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Q#)
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Publication record in quantum information science
- Experience with machine learning frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
