Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols to advance quantum coherence and scalability
- Collaborate with AI teams to integrate quantum acceleration into classical ML pipelines
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure research grants and partnerships with national labs and academic institutions
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our quantum computing curriculum
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, and hardware-software co-design
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and low-level quantum control systems
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum measurement techniques
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
