Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop error-corrected quantum processors
- Author groundbreaking research published in Nature/Science journals
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Secure $2M+ in research funding through NSF and DARPA grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Patent at least 3 quantum computing innovations annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, etc.)
- Expertise in Qiskit/Cirq programming and quantum circuit design
- Track record of translating quantum theory to practical applications
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Experience securing federal research grants
