Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for encryption optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant security protocols
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum circuit performance
- Secure government and private sector grants for quantum research initiatives
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum information theory or cryptography
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding (>1M USD preferred)
