Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to enhance qubit stability and fidelity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical systems
- Conduct experimental research on quantum hardware platforms including superconducting qubits and trapped ions
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and statistical modeling
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed quantum computing research
- Expertise in at least one quantum hardware platform (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced R&D environments
