Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and AI applications

- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $2M+ in DoE/NIST quantum research grants
- Mentor PhD researchers and build quantum computing curriculum for 2026 talent pipeline
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or CS with 5+ years research experience
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Published 10+ peer-reviewed papers on quantum algorithms or error correction
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and variational quantum algorithms
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong Python/C++ programming with quantum simulation libraries
- Track record of securing federal quantum research funding
