Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures leveraging superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum algorithms for practical applications
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum-coherent interfaces
- Document quantum system specifications and security protocols
- Drive quantum computing roadmap alignment with 2026 industry benchmarks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Published research in quantum computing or topological quantum systems
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects
