Responsibilities
- Architect and implement quantum algorithms targeting 2026 milestones in cryptography, optimization, and AI
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of 15+ quantum physicists, software engineers, and domain specialists
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through federal grants and industry partnerships
- Develop proprietary quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and lead industry standards committees
- Translate quantum prototypes into production-ready solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Represent NexusLabs at global quantum summits including WEF and IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science with 8+ years research experience
- Published author in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature Quantum, PRL)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, QML, and quantum error correction
- Proven track record securing $3M+ in quantum research grants
- Experience leading teams of 10+ researchers in high-stakes environments
- Deep knowledge of quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong industry connections with quantum computing ecosystems
- Fluency in Python, Qiskit, and quantum simulation frameworks
