Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- Publish 3+ high-impact papers in Nature/Science annually
- Architect fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Mentor PhD researchers and industry interns
- Collaborate with NASA and Intel on quantum-hybrid computing projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction techniques
- Proven ability to secure federal research funding
- Experience leading teams of 10+ researchers
- Strong background in machine learning optimization
