Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for real-world applications in finance, healthcare, and logistics
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Develop fault-tolerant quantum architectures operating at 100+ qubit stability
- Create roadmaps for quantum-classical hybrid computing integration
- Drive patent development for proprietary quantum optimization techniques
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Present breakthrough innovations to C-suite executives and venture partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or supercomputing design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science quantum computing journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for experimental systems
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant roadmap
