Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise clients
- Lead quantum-resistant cryptographic system integration into legacy infrastructure
- Collaborate with physicists to translate quantum theory into deployable software
- Optimize qubit coherence times and error correction protocols
- Document quantum system architectures and publish research findings
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in Python, C++, and high-performance computing architectures
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Strong understanding of quantum mechanics principles and superposition/entanglement
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business solutions
