Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical computing infrastructure
- Lead research on quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Document system specifications and create technical roadmaps for quantum hardware development
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum software engineering
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing or physics journals
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing architectures
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and their computational applications
