Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols for financial and healthcare sectors
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing hybrid quantum-classical systems
- Create technical roadmaps for quantum computing integration into existing infrastructure
- Conduct advanced research on quantum error correction methodologies
- Present quantum computing strategies to C-level executives and technical stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum algorithm development and optimization
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Strong background in cryptographic protocols and security frameworks
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex concepts to non-technical audiences
