Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into quantum solutions
- Optimize quantum algorithms for performance and error correction
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Document system specifications and create technical implementation roadmaps
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to open-source quantum projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting or trapped-ion quantum systems
- Strong background in algorithm design and complexity theory
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in high-performance computing architectures
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to non-technical stakeholders
