The Opportunity: Lead architecture for our 1000+ qubit quantum processors while developing error-correction frameworks and hybrid quantum-classical interfaces. This role directly impacts our 2026 commercialization roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures integrating photonic and superconducting qubits
- Develop quantum error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Create hybrid quantum-classical interfaces for enterprise applications
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and materials science
- Lead security audits of quantum communication protocols
- Mentor quantum engineering teams on cutting-edge frameworks
- Collaborate with NASA on quantum satellite network architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or related field
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum systems
- Proficiency in quantum machine learning frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration
- Certification in Quantum Security Architecture (QSA)
