Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical workflows for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead quantum system architecture planning for 1000+ qubit processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum error correction protocols
- Translate complex quantum computing concepts into actionable business solutions
- Publish research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and information theory
- Track record of developing quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Expertise in cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
