Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise deployment by 2026
- Develop error-correction protocols achieving >99.9% qubit fidelity
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Partner with clients to solve complex optimization problems using quantum algorithms
- Contribute to open-source quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Present quantum roadmap to C-suite executives and venture capitalists
- Secure $2M+ in R&D grants through DOE and NSF programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, etc.)
- Experience securing federal research grants ($500K+ projects)
- Deep understanding of NISQ-era limitations and 2026 quantum roadmap
- Track record of commercializing quantum technologies
