Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for NISQ-era processors with error correction protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum system integration
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography applications
- Research and prototype novel quantum materials for improved qubit coherence times
- Optimize quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows for enterprise-scale deployment
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing initiatives and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning frameworks
- Proficiency in Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq for quantum algorithm development
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing advances
- Experience leading quantum computing projects with $10M+ budgets
