Responsibilities
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems for AI model acceleration
- Design fault-tolerant quantum neural networks with 1000+ qubit scalability
- Develop cryptographic protocols resistant to quantum decryption attacks
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization
- Translate theoretical quantum advantage into practical commercial applications
- Collaborate with MIT and Caltech on quantum supremacy benchmarks
- File 3-5 foundational patents in quantum machine learning annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Systems, or Computational Physics
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit design
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in tensor network simulations and quantum circuit optimization
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning architectures
- Security clearance eligibility for DoD quantum projects
