Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical AI frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for large-scale AI training
- Develop proprietary quantum computing interfaces for enterprise clients
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum AI research methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private research grants annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics from Tier 1 institution
- 5+ years of experience in quantum algorithm development
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and superposition principles
- Track record of securing government research grants (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
- Experience with 20+ qubit quantum processors and error mitigation techniques
