Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for neural network optimization
- Lead research in quantum error correction for AI applications achieving >99.9% fidelity
- Develop novel frameworks for real-time quantum simulation of complex biological systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors optimized for AI workloads
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and industry partners
- Mentor a cross-disciplinary team of quantum engineers and AI specialists
- Publish 3+ breakthrough papers in Nature/Science journals annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Computational Physics
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and quantum machine learning
- Published research in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, ICML)
- Proficiency in high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU acceleration
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into production systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics
