Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize quantum algorithms to solve complex machine learning problems, specifically targeting the 2026 computational horizon.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to design quantum circuits that interface seamlessly with classical AI models.
- Conduct rigorous research to validate theoretical models and improve quantum error correction techniques.
- Prototype scalable software stacks for hybrid quantum-classical computing environments.
- Publish high-impact research papers and contribute to the open-source quantum community.
- Mentor junior researchers and guide them in navigating the complexities of quantum software development.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Proven experience in programming quantum hardware or simulators using frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Deep understanding of classical machine learning algorithms (Neural Networks, Transformers) and their quantum analogues.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++ for high-performance computing applications.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, Amazon Braket, or Azure Quantum).
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical physics concepts into executable software code.
