Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods and materials to designated delivery locations in the New Orleans metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate logs of delivery times, mileage, and vehicle conditions.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients at delivery sites.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent professional driving experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major moving violations.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans geography and local traffic patterns.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
