Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vans to deliver packages and cargo to residential and commercial clients throughout the Los Angeles area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, keeping it presentable for the next driver.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to minimize risks.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling questions and feedback with a smile.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not strictly required for light cargo vans.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no recent DUIs or serious violations.
- Physically fit and able to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Los Angeles traffic patterns.
- Excellent customer service skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
