Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans and box trucks for local and regional deliveries.
- Load and unload freight with precision, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and delivery paperwork.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients at delivery sites.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not always required based on vehicle size.
- A clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic understanding of navigation systems and route planning.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
