Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods across the Dallas metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments while following proper handling procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Dallas area streets and highway systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
